The information on this page, should assist you with answering many questions you may have regarding inmate commissary, rules, booking fees, and court appearances.  



Jackson County Correctional Facility (JCCF)

Booking Fees

There is a $20 booking fee if you are booked into this facility, plus a $2 entry pack fee, which provides the inmate with toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, comb and deodorant.

All booking/entry pack fees must be paid before an inmate can place a commissary order.   

Commissary

 Inmate may order Commissary, when they have a positive balance and once the booking fees have been paid. Commissary orders are sent out on Mondays and Thursdays by 9:30 a.m. Orders are delivered Tuesdays and Fridays. 

If available and an inmate has money, they may order a weekender pack for $12.  Inmates can fill out order forms in the pod and give to the pod officer. The Commissary Clerk will collect and fill orders Monday -Friday, except on national holidays.

Note: If there is a national holiday there is no commissary on that holiday.


There are four (4) ways to place money in an account for an inmate to order Commissary items.

  1. List the lobby of the Jackson County Sheriff's Office, 350 Portsmouth St., Jackson, Ohio 24 hours a day/365 days a year. This can be done at the kiosk. The kiosk will not accept $1 bills.
  2. By visiting: www.accesscorrections.com 
  3. Calling Access Corrections at 1(866)845-1884.
  4. Using your smart device, download the  App Access Corrections. When using the App you will have to select our facility.

NOTE: All methods will charge a $4 service fee.

Phone Calls

  Inmates have phones in the pod to call collect.  The inmates are also able to buy phone time from their commissary account.  The inmate phone service JCCF uses  isICS Solutions.  The number for family and friends to call if you need help (setting up accounts is:  1-888-506-8407 or online at www.icsoluntions.com

Note: Effective 2-8-21, All non-privileged incoming mail, including photographs, will be photocopied. Inmates will be given the photocopies. 

Arraignments, Court Dates and Bail/Bonds

Court dates, bail and bond amounts can be checked by visiting the  Jackson County Municipal Court website or the Jackson County Clerk of Courts website for Common Pleas Court.

Before alling JCCF, please visit those sites to check case status, court dates, court results:


Jackson County Municipal Court:

Visitation

 Visitation Hours

Saturday: Noon - 5 p.m. (last appointment is 4:30 p.m.)

Sunday: Noon - 5 p.m. (last appointment is 4:30 p.m.)

Each inmate is allowed 30 minutes of visit time.

This can be divided into two 15 minute visits over two days or one 30 minute visit

All visits need to be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance as space is limited.
