Tedd E. FRazier, Sheriff

Sheriff Frazier is a 1992 graduate of the  Clark State Basic Police Academy in Springfield, Ohio.

Frazier has experience as a K-9 handler. He served as a K-9 handler from 1994 to 2011. He served Jackson County from 2001 to 2011 in that capacity.

In 2001, Frazier began working for the Jackson County Sheriff's Office, where he has remained, except for a short time following his candidacy for Jackson County Sheriff in 2011. 

In 2012, he began his first term as Jackson County Sheriff. He was re-elected in 2016 for his second term. In 2021, Frazier will begin his third term.

Sheriff Frazier is the first Sheriff in the Jackson County history to graduate from the National Sheriff's Institute (NSI). He was also the first to bring clandestine methamphetamine lab training to Ohio.

 The Frazier family lives on a farm,  just outside the City of Jackson, where they raise cattle.

Jackson County Sheriff Tedd E. Frazier, is pictured taking his oath of Office, with the support of his wife Dr. Alice Frazier.  Mike DeWine, the Attorney General of Ohio at the time, administered the oath. DeWine is now Ohio's Governor.

Sheriff Frazier is just finishing his second term in office. In 2021, he will begin his third term. He was unopposed in the 2020 Republican Party Primary, as well as the General Election.

Scott Conley, Chief Deputy

Chief Deputy Scott Conley is a 1996  graduate of the Ohio University-Chillicothe Police Academy.  His first peace officer commission was with the City of Jackson Police Department (JPD) as an auxiliary officer in 1996. In 1999, Conley began his full-time career in law enforcement as a patrolman with JPD. By 2002, Conley was promoted to Sergeant. In 2013, Conley was named JPD's Officer of the Year.

 Conley joined the Jackson County Sheriff's Office in late 2018 as a Major.  In January 2020, Conley became the Chief Deputy.

The Conley Family resides in rural Jackson County, just outside the City of Jackson.
